For the past dozen years ? and nearly as many pets ? we have entrusted Dr. Julie Matthews and crew with the care of our furry and, on occasion, feathered family members. It would take a novel to describe our experiences with Village Vet?s always empathetic and occasionally unique interventions (from acupuncture to chiropractic medicine; from Chinese herbs to the newly available flea control treatments?). Whether it was the miracle performed after a debilitating stroke, or the patience they have that inspires us through the course of a long chronic illness, we marvel at the extent Dr. Julie will go to nurture both our pets and us. village vet cares. I've had 7 pets, (3 dogs,4 cats) treated thru this practice. Two of my dogs were "special needs" ; diabetic,and seizure. \r All my animals have been given extraordinary care, through their check-ups til their deaths. I have never been rushed thru. Appointments are easy to get, emergency situations are made top priority. Every question is answered, as well as every option is explained, basic to the most complex. They are up to date on all the latest medical options. I totally trust the advice and care from this practice. You and your pet are always their top priority. They even call to find out how your pet is doing!\r Pet care today can be expensive, they are fully aware of this, and work with you on this.
