Not only are they clean, and they provide excellent service, Village Laundromat is affiliated with many organizations such as Hospice, Compassion Care, Delaware Autism and Asberger's, and the University of Delaware. ( That is just to name a few!) The new owner is very active within the community. He also provides pick up and delivery service. The staff there are very friendly and welcoming. While your laundry is washing and drying you are even able to sit and watch a movie. It is located right near a Wawa and a Dunkin Donuts, along with Dominos. Soon a Dollar General will be added into the strip. Village Laundromat has 13 regular sized washers and 6 Huge Washers that can hold up to 4x the amount as a regular size washer. They are clean and ready to go! Village Laundromat has 18 mega-sized gas dryers and the owner said he is wanting to add 2 more soon. Changes are coming to Village Laundromat!!! Good ones! I always had a very bad experience with these guys. I frequented this place once because a few years back this was the only quality laundromat in the vicinity in my area. They charge exhorbitant amounts for their laundary. Their washers and dryers too are not new. They date back to centuries back. I could literally see rust building in the washers. I guess they use hard water to do their laundary. They even expect tips for the poor service they provide. Avoid this place at any cost. more
