I am a fan of the food as well, but they have been offering some great happy hour specials recently as well as the 1/2 off wine, which I'm also a big fan of.

Awesome ambience, ok food 8/16/2004

If you're looking for ambience, this is the place, especially the outdoor patio where you can dine and see old flicks they play which are projected on one of the walls. It's pretty neat. The food is ok, not bad, but not totally outstanding either. Their bloody mary is really good! Be sure to make reservations, it gets crowded. I went there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Villa Sorriso is truly a full dinning experience. The setting and decor was the perfect start for our fun filled evening. Villa has a menu. The fresh oysters and garlic mussels were amazing. The Grilled Salmon came with corn and crab flapjack that gave my dinner such a different turn on just grilled salmon. We shared desserts but, my favorite was the italian bread pudding. Very disappointed 7/7/2004

1. Both this website and the woman on the phone when I made my reservation made me believe that they have private cabanas. They don't. They're tents (marquee) with several tables. They're not private at all. 2. Or server did not mention any specials to us. The server at another table did. We never got any bread. The other table did. 3. I asked them to leave the bacon off the spinach salad. It came with the bacon. 4. The menu is nothing spectacular, boring, standard Italian dishes. 5. The mussles in the seafood pasta were very old. 5. The Martinis are OK. I will not return. Cons: , boring menu, food not that great more
