More like, DVD room 10/8/2005

It is hard to rent at this place for new releases if you don't have a DVD player, but this place has the best selection of oldies, indies, and foreign titles, which are all available on VHS. Probably the best selection of anyone in the neighborhood, but be warned: the staff can be extremely rude. more

Movie Buff Posers 8/21/2005

I was rather disappointed with this video store, as I had been to the one downtown (Battery Park) and this one was nothing like it. The staff was rude and didn’t seem very knowledgeable. I’m a big movie person so when I go rent movies, I like to talk a little about the movies. The person at the front desk looked at me like I was totally uncool for renting a new release. I like all types of movies and don’t judge people because they don’t rent a foreign or Indie film. I then asked him about one of the Indie films I was thinking about renting. He just kind of shrugged and said he hadn’t seen it. more

It's got what a video store should have - video's 8/16/2005

This video store on 3rd avenue has what it needs to - lots of movies to rent. It's got everything you would want and the prices are good. They claim to have over 12,000 VHS and DVD titles to rent. They have lots of oldies, and foreign films. There is also a downtown location. more
