Victorian Hall

I booked the event with several family members as a group thing. The staff was very helpful and the location is very clean and neat. No smoke smell, smoking allowed only outside, thank goodness. The hall DJ played what we requested and we danced all night. There is a dress code only to the no baseball caps or hooded sweatshirts, but we prefer that to other places where they allow a thug look. Doorman checked bags but only for liquor bottles which were allowed but no outside food or drinks. Overall fun and happy with what we paid and what we received. Pros: Clean, fun DJ more

No negative experience here. After reading the other review I felt I had to post. All guidelines were read to me in advance so we knew what to expect about bags, times, cleanup, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. it was suppose to be a beauitful event , it did'nt happen that way. owner who appears to be very nice turns into a nightmare. she checks all bags when guest are entering the hall, she is very rude to outside vendors, a/c not so good does'nt allow you patio for smokers. not only that but, have her own child i mean childrren cleaning and picking up durning event. they also help themselves to food and cake whick i thought was very unproffessional and that s not all i caught the owner taking decorations from tables and putting them in there office. she was very rude to guest i had serveral guest come up to me and ask me who she was because she was bothering them and asking them if she could check there bags. thats not all at the end of the night i went to go get the left over food that i had paid for and all the food was covered in a dark room un a linen and they acted as if they had no idea who had done that. after everything she rush us out before the event was even over you pay untill midnight but they start to close down at 1130 and she starts cleaning and telling people they have to leave . after the party i simply told them that i felt they were a little rude to the guest her come back was oh well you already paid and she slam the door on our faces and turned off all the lights including parking lights where people were still standing so we had to wait in the dark for all our guest to leave. never again please be aware. i really thought she was a nice person she is untill the night of the event. and the bar is over to expensive .
