Beware of Derrick, the liar!!! I went in to the store to buy a new phone. That's all I wanted, a new phone. I knew I wanted the Samsung Galaxy, and I'm very happy with the new phone itself. However, the service was beyond atrocious! Derrick was the shady sales guy who ""helped"" me. I clearly stated I only wanted a new phone, that's it.... no accessories, nothing. He offered me a family share plan to save me some money. Then he lied and said included in that new plan I'd already be paying $20 month, so I could pick either Verizon home phone connect or a jetpack for wi-fi on the go. Again, I reminded him I only wanted a new phone, I wasn't interested in anything else. He persisted and told me to just pick one of those options since I'd be paying for it anyways. I ended up taking the Verizon home phone connect home with me. Something didn't feel right. So I returned the following day to return it. Another sales guy helped me and said I didn't have to pay that extra $20/ month, it was optional. I confronted Derrick in the store, and he wouldn't even apologize for lying to me. I was able to return the lame product, but then they tried to charge me a $35 restocking fee. Managers were useless, too. It wasn't until I got them to call customer care for me that I was able to get credited for the restocking fee.\r
There were 2 other women in the store with exactly the same complaints and returns that I had. All the Verizon salespeople and managers care about is making the sale, that's it. This had to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and I will never go to this store again. In fact, it was such a turnoff, I have thought about switching carriers. Way to go, Verizon...
