Venus Tam Cafe

This is a cozy little place catered to HK people, and the best thing is that it is open until around 1 am every night. They just remodeled the entire cafe, and it looks much better than the dive it was before. It's more upscale and borderline classy nowadays. They serve much of your standard Chinese fare, but their specialty lies with the HK/American fusion dishes. You can order a plethora of meat and vegetable items served with either rice or spaghetti, and they also have those cool sizzling platters that simmer before your very eyes. My personal favorite is the baked seafood spaghetti, or "guk hoi seen yee fun" in Chinese. Their HK style milk tea is very tasty as well. It's not too watery, nor too strong. If you aren't all that hungry, yet yearn for a hearty snack, after 9pm, there are specials which are similar to the main courses, just smaller portions at lower prices. Oh and furthermore, on any given night, you are almost guaranteed to catch some lovely scenery. =) more

Venus Bakery Cafe is one of the best place to hang out. It's a chinese *mainly cantonese* restaurant that isn't fancy nor eligent, but many young adults hang out there to eat and talk. they provide food such as sweet corn and chicken over rice, chef specials, and curry as well. They serve breakfast and late night snacks too. Another added special is that they have a big screen tv as well. They also have a little bakery where they sell buns and bread and that sort of things. I really enjoy coming to this place to eat because of the wonderful environment and great food. more
