Van Atta's has flowers!...annuals, perennials,...outdoor, indoor....in pots, fresh cut...live, artificial . And they have trees, shrubs, indoor plants, bulbs and seeds. AND gifties and all kinds of things related to growing plants!!! The owner's, George and Ria, are knowledgeable and friendly...and busy tending to their plants and staff. this is a GREAT place !!! more

Great local flower shop 8/18/2005

Van Atta's has a GREAT selection of just about any plant that you could want for your home or garden. Providing large greenhouses & large outdoor areas of plants, herbs, and vegetables, Van Atta's is your one stop shop. While they are not really the cheapest place around, the convenience can't be beat and the plants are generally good quality. more

They've got it all! 8/6/2005

Van Atta's is a fabulous place both for fresh cut flowers and for all of your gardening needs. Their service is wonderful (they have kept me on lists for months in the past to help me find an unusual item) and their staff can help you with any gardening project. I find that whenever I go somewhere else and that place doesn't have the item -- even the other store will tell me to "go to Van Atta's...if anyone has it they will" and I have found that to be true again and again. Their prices are fair; their flowers and plants gorgeous! more

Holy flowers Batman! 7/31/2005

The selection of flowers, shrubs and trees and Van Atta's off Old M78 in Haslett is truly astounding. My wife dragged me along a few months back, but it was actually pretty neat. They have a huge selection and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. If you're looking for larger shrub kinds of things, make sure to wear old footwear. It can get a little muddy outside especially when they're trying to water everything. They also have a rather large mail order business should you want to send anything out to distant family and friends. more
