I've been going to Vamp for about 6 months. I was a walk in when I first started going and after my first haircut with Cristina, I was hooked. My hair is always on point whenever I leave there and I'm always getting mad looks from the ladies because of it. Oh and when I get my head massage with the wash... OH MR. BOJANGLES!!! I'm consistently late for pretty much all of my appointments but Cristina always finds a way to work around it. ""JJSinclair"", I know why we all make appointments and I'm the one that usually screws that all up for everyone. Sorry. All around it is a great salon full of uber cool people. Oh, and I can't forget Meagan, the captain of that magic carpet ride, she keeps it all moving! Way to go, girls! more

I had to wait and extra 45 minutes for my appointment with cristina to start! There's a reason we set appointments in advance! It's so we go in and start and that time! She took forever! She was a sweet girl but I hated the way she did my hair! And the wait was just ridiculous. more

I have been going to Vamp for almost two years now and it is my favorite place to relax, enjoy some much needed pampering, as well as friendly and upbeat conversations from the girls. I have had nearly every stylist at one time or another provide services either for me or for my girls and we have had nothing but the best possible experiences. Megan gives the best pedicure I have ever had, lWhitnee's eyelash extensions are amazing, Kaylee's haircut and color always leave me feeling sensational, Tosha can updo like no other, and Christianne's brow and lip waxes are superb. more

I totally disagree with the person who complained about Whitnee & the quality of her work! I have had services (everything from nails, eyelash extentions, colors, & haircuts) performed by everyone who works at Vamp & they are all wonderful. The atmosphere is so much better now that Megan has taken over as owner! She really knows how to run a business & her current staff the BEST EVER! more

I had the BEST experience getting my nails done by Whitnee at VAMP salon. She is very sweet and easy to talk to. She is fast and I get so many compliments on them. she can do a lot of different designs all with acrylic. I absolutely love that my nails don't hurt afterward like at other places. Go visit her and all the other girls at VAMP! They are all AMAZING!!! more

I have not had the pleasure of a good experience getting my nails done at Vamp. I went there the day before my wedding for a brow wax, full set and pedicure...3.5 hours later, 1 hour of which took up by the brow wax and pedicure, I went home completely dissatisfied. The nail polish looked worse than had my 6 yr old daugher painted them and they were lumpy, needless to say I spent another hour fixing the mess, NOT IMPRESSED with Whitney! HOWEVER, I will absolutely give props to Cristina! You get exactly what you ask for when she cuts and colors your hair. She is willing to make changes if a day later your hair doesn't seem to look they way you wanted it (after you style it) and fixed the worst at home color job for me. She doesn't overcharge and is extremely friendly but not overly chatty (so she pays attention to what she's doing). I give VAMP 5 stars because Cristina makes it worth going back for more. more

This salon is less than 2 miles from my home. After driving past several times, completely intrigued ... I finally called one day and made an appointment to get my hair cut. I loved the look of the salon immediately and could not have been more pleased with lovely and vibrant young woman, Cristina, who cut my hair. She was very sweet, and not only listened to what I wanted but actually did EXACTLY what I asked. When I went home that night my 19 year old daughter liked by hair so much that she insisted on meeting Cristina as well. That appointment went just as well as mine and we have both been visiting Cristina on a regular basis ever since. She is absolutely WONDERFUL! To find a stylist that can please a 42 year old woman (who tries desperately to look up-to-date without looking like she is trying too hard) AND her 19 year old hip/cool daughter is a rare find indeed. \r \r On our last trip, we both opted for color as well as a cut, and once again, Cristina had us both lookng like a million, me without a grey in sight (only my stylist knows for sure ... lol) and my daughter with a stunning red. But while I waited this time I choose to give one of the nail techs a try. Just as with Cristina, Whitney was absolutley lovely. We chatted like old friends (one of my favorite things in the world) while she applied a beautiful, thin, very natural looking set of nails that I get compliments on everywhere I go. \r \r I also had the pleasure of making the owner's aquaitence on my last visit and, although I am ashamed to say that her name escapes me at the moment, I found her dedication to the service received by her customers to be refreshing. In this day and age I am afraid that service has taken a backseat, in many cases, to the all mighty dollar. But not at Vamp Salon!! At Vamp you will receive the best in service and quality at a reasonable price. They have a customer for life in me. more

I love this salon...I've been getting my nails done at the Vamp Salon for a little over a year now. I get compliments on the style and color all the time; The owner does my nails and I'd never go anywhere else. The stylists are always cheerful and in a good mood. It's a very professional atmosphere, and I enjoy my experience everytime. I've told everyone I know about the salon and even a few strangers who have asked where I get my nails done.....they are that good! more

I remember the first time I walked into Vamp Salon to see about getting my nails done. I was very impressed with how friendly and professional the employees were. My nails have never looked better. I am complimented on my nails all the time and have never had any issues with them. I was getting quite discouraged for a while because I could not find anyone in this town that was able to do my nails to my satisfaction and believe me I am picky. I have never been happier with the service and product at Vamp Salon and I refer them to everyone. I have been in Customer Service for many many years and I know what is expected. I have been to vamp many times for both hair and nails, their stylists care very much about their clients and they don't want anyone leaving unhappy. they have always worked very hard to keep my happy. i've never been to a salon like that. vamp uses awesome products in hair and nails. my fingers don't hurt when i walk out the door after getting a set of nails. i can be picky and they always work hard to make sure i love the finished product. i encourage everyone to go to vamp salon in west jordan, ut. you will not be disappointed! more

I have been going to VAMP since they opened in 2009. I have been with them through it all and they are very professional and care about their clients. The atmosphere is amazing & this is a very upscale salon with competetive prices. Everyone should experience VAMP!! more

I went thru the same thing. I went into the salon and talked with the owner. She advised me if I called the company that handles my card, they would see that the money is sitting in limbo. The card company put the money back on my card, and it was a very simple process. CALL THE CARD COMPANY AND GET IT FIGURED OUT BEFORE YOU START MAKING NASTY COMMENTS ABOUT SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED BEFORE THE CURRENT OWNER COULD FIX IT! more

I went to Vamp for a hair cut and color. The hair cut was ok, but ended up much shorter than I had asked. She cut my hair in the back and just kept cutting. I believe to correct the first mistake. the color didn't appear bad until I got home and could see it in the light. My greys were still grey, the color on my roots was much lighter than the ends and it wasn't the color I had asked for. I called the salon the next day and was told by Cindy it wouldn't do any good for me to come back to have it fixed because the owner insisted on using inferior product because they were cheaper I paid over $100 including tip and had to pay again to have my hair corrected by a real professional. My advice, look for a salon who uses good hair products and whose employees actually believe they deliver a good product. Stay away from VAMP in West Jordan... more
