As good as it gets 7/27/2003

You could hold a US OPEN here. The course has it all and really has no weakness except for a lack of a few hundred yards. If they grow the ruff tour pros would be challenged. This is the way golf should be, not at courses like Thanksgiving point. more

Wonderful golf course with a beautiful setting. Greens are tough but fair and the golf course is always in great shape. Best golf course for the money in the state of Utah. Pros: beautiful greens, hole variety, serene setting Cons: tough to walk more

Great Course 10/27/2002

My two favorite courses in Davis county are Valley View and Bountiful Ridge. Davis Golf course is literally 3 blocks from my home, but I will gladly drive to VV for a better golf experience. Treat yourself to an afternoon at VVGC. You will be happy you did! Pros: immaculate Cons: many sloped fairways more

The place was immaculate. Nice challenging layout. Awesome Greens. Well sorted variation of holes. Great view of the northern valley. The range, chipping, and putting areas are very well kept. Cannot complain of the prices. Best value in the northern area. Pros: Great Value, Very well kept, Nice greens more

Always a pleasure to play one of Utah's best public. Lashing it with your pals, a good beverage and epic weather is tough to beat! Needless to say they need get on the phones to the bullpen and replace the counter guy! Pros: Greens, Par 3's, Views Cons: Counter Guy, Counter Guy, Counter Guy more

Great layout--one of the best around. HOWVER, the staff, proshop, grounds, etc could care less about taking care of the course. Its usually soaked from over watering, the greens are in terrible shape and the rough is mostly overgrown. Its gone severly downhill from its glory days of the early 80's to mid 90's. Really a shame. Raise the green fees and take care of the course--its a real beauty !!!! Pros: layout, inexpensive Cons: staff, condition, attitude more
