go to puget park instead 4/8/2009

I'm a huge fan of Puget Park, seeing as how it is closer to Seattle. But last year i wanted to check out the Valley 6. Valley 6 is cheaper, but you get what you pay for. 1. Food was inedible. Popcorn old. "condiments" consisted of nasty looking diced onions. 2. Screen was SMALL, picture was bad. If you've never been to a drive-in before i guess it would be a good time, but if you want a good experience head up to South Everett and check out Puget Park. more

Best Kept Theater Secret 8/21/2005

Take a small trip outwards past Kent WA . . . This large drive in has six screens, and for the low low price of $7.00 per person, you can see two first run movies back to back, or if you are late, see the first again shown after the second, if you feel like hanging out until 3:00 in the morning. Tips for a successful drive-in outing: You will need an AM radio. If you have an internal antenna, bring electrical tape so you can tape the transmitter to your car . . . it works fine that way. Shows start when the sun goes down, call the theater on the day of to check for sure. If you have a new baby, this is THE place to go to get out of the house and see a new flick without baby annoying everyone by crying. If you have a car, take it. Most people out here have trucks and they have to park around the sides, so cars have the closest and most central views. Sound and picture quality are fine, but save the beautiful art films or films you've been waiting to see for the Dolby outfitted theaters. Bring in your own food and drinks. The only thing they stop you from bringing in is booze. They do have a concession bar on either side, but why not just bring in your own? We brought in a pizza once for a true sense of decadence at the movies. more
