Worst treatment I have ever recieved 1/13/2012

I went to their 90 minute presentation and ended up with a manager as my sales person. During the inital meeting the managers would come up and talk to me about others that had lied and said they were single but when asked to sign changed their story. After a long presentation I was tag teamed by a few guys giving me better and better pricing as they went. They told me take money out of this and why wouldnt you buy? I had said I dont buy anything without thinking about it first and that I would be interested at some other point once I had thought about it more. They told me that I never could come in again and get a special. I explained that the email I recieved saying I could go once a year was told it was a lie by the marketing company to get me in. I was interrogated about my status as a single woman... why was I single, pretty, driving a Lexus and living in Bellevue. There must be something I am not being honest about. After finally saying I am not interested in this time the sales person got up to get my gift. As I was walking through the group of managers they all starting chanting that I was a fibber, and I lier. I told them I had someone very interested in buying a timeshare but now after the experience would not recommend them to the company. They told me they did not take referrals from people that do not buy. While it may be a good deal for people do not be fooled by them telling you there is no obligation to buy. If you are not interested the abuse is not worth the trip to Vegas. more

BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!!! 8/28/2011

I've been a Vacation Internationale owner for 14 years now, and I LOVE IT! It's funny how everyone who writes a negative comment/review about VI is someone who had some complications with their free gift, which isn't free (DUH!) because you need to pay taxes for them (there's taxes on EVERYTHING in america.. nothing's free!) Most VI owners are too busy travelling and having fun, spending quality time with their friends and family, while those who couldn't get qualified into the program are complaining on their computers AT HOME. As an owner, I've been able to stay at VERY luxurious resorts and condo's with wonderful accommodations where I wouldn't have been able to stay at and afford if I didn't own this program. Such resorts include All-Inclusive resorts, private villas with private pools and jacuzzis, full kitchens, and convenient amenities. Also, the program has GREAT value, especially if you look at what it can get you compared to the ""deals"" I can find on Priceline and other online ""deals."" I definitely and strongly recommend Vacation Internationale to EVERYONE, especially if you want to travel more and save a TON of money! It's the best thing my family and I have done in our lives, because we have been able to share wonderful memories at breathtaking locations because of this program! more

Voluntary verbal assault 3/5/2011

Not at all worth the 'free vacation' they promise. Upon arrival they assign a salesperson to you, who goes over a brief vacation questionnaire. Everything you say or imply will be turned around and manipulated later as they pressure you to purchase ownership in their program. I heard some of the sales staff telling their boss that people were lying to them, appartently in an attempt to browbeat people to say yes. The price started at $25 k for a 25 year membership, but they offer a ""today only!"" special for $17k, then keep making lower offers if you say no; of course your points decrease exponentially so your options dwindle with the price. I was enticed with not only a ""free"" 7-day cruise but also a 3-day stay in one of their resorts. Sounded too good to be true. They said that 5 in 6 attendees sign up for the program - it was amazing to listen to people sign up when they had proudly announced 2 hours ago they were only there for the ""free trip"". I'm sure the champagne had something to do with. Once they realized I wasn't buying they couldn't get me out the door quick enough. I did get a certificate for a trip but it wasn't what I was initially promised and I also got my $20 deposit back - in the form of a rebate card only good for 45 days. It's an interesting experience I guess, if you can handle the verbal assault. more

SCAM, DON'T FALL FOR IT!!! 1/18/2011

My husband and I recieved several phone calls telling us that we won a free trip, and all we had to do was listen to a 90 minute presentation. We showed up 15 minutes prior to the appointment time of 8pm, only to be told we're not on the list. I immediately called back the number which called me twice earlier that day to confirm our appointment. The lady answered the phone ""Vacation Internationale"" and sais we were scheduled that evening at 8pm. I told the guy at the front desk that I had someone on the phone, and he replied ""the people who call you are from a different marketing company, and not directly with VI."" Okay, then how come when the marketing company calls me, and when they answer the phone they claim they're with VI? I handed over my cellphone so the guy could speak with the lady who had been calling me. Finally they agreed to let us do the 8pm, as long as they had a sales person availible after the ""scheduled"" people all showed. So we waited around for 20 minutes, and were told they could see us. The presentation took over 2 hours, not the 90 minutes they tell you to get you in. The ""free trip"" that you win ends up costing $350 in taxes and booking fees for a Las Vegas trip of 2 nights. I have booked for cheaper than that including roundtrip airfare and hotel through Southwest Airlines Vacations. Plus the ""hotel"" they so-called put you up in, isn't even a hotel. It's a ""motel"" which is a couple of miles from the strip. The sales presentation is high pressure, and if you don't buy a $20,000 package they try and sell you a $12,000 package. When you still tell them no, they drop it down to a $6,000 package and tell you that you can come back at anytime if you want to upgrade to a higher priced one in the future. Are you kidding me? And when you turn them down completely, they sit there and insult you to your face. The guy took one look at my husband and said ""If you really loved your wife, you would buy this for her. Who doesn't like to travel?"" Excuse me, is that supposed to be a selling point? more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER 1/13/2011

Do not fall the the hype. They promise you a free gift and when you don't buy their outragous packages they refuse to give you your gift. I will never trust again. The worst company to get into bed with. more
