VISION ONE LASIK CENTER-LOMBARD

I bought a Groupon for Lasik, not going to lie I was a little skeptical but I am so glad I did! My surgery was at night and I walked out with blurry vision, went straight to sleep and when I woke up the next morning I had PERFECT vision. Yes the wait on surgery day is a little long, but it is a very small price to pay for perfect vision. I have been and will continue to recommend Vision One to my friends and family. more

Price wise this is the cheapest I've seen the procedure at $1900 with the Groupon. I went for the consultation before I purchased the Groupon but I was still surprised that for such a large purchase for a Groupon that it was not a scam. LVI charged $3300 with a supposed 20% discount because the sun was shining. LASIK plus wanted my leg and $3750 also with a $600 discount because the sky is blue. You see and talk to the doctors more than other places that have you with a tech most of the time. Yes, you'll be there on the day of the surgery for 3-4 hours because they have people go in groups. The whole procedure takes about less than five minutes. I was able to see almost immediately. I even went out to eat afterwards. Discomfort is the best word to describe some of the unpleasant sensation regarding the surgery, but there is no pain. Two weeks later, I can see without any aid better than ever. You have to wear the goggles for a week while you sleep and take two eye drops four times a day as well, but that's no big deal. My vision is still improving as it takes a couple of months to fully heal. So I would definitely recommend going here unless you wanna pay double the price at LVI or LASIK plus. Best investment so far. more

I intentionally waited over two months before writing this review (or so I like to tell myself), just so I could truly verify the PROMISES made at this Vision One LASIK Center instead of just posing as fanboy proclaiming that its gonna be a bright, bright, sun shiney day. My cousins regularly visit the Lombard location of Vision One Lasik Center for their spectacles and I have heard good remarks about that side of this business but my experience here is limited to the Laser Eye Surgery. I discovered that Vision One Lasik Center was going to be featured on a number of daily deal platforms but, despite the apparent plethora of options, this clinic pioneered the rising popularity that we have seen of LASIK on platforms such as Groupon, Amazon Local, Living Social, etc. Instead of providing a generic overview saying that guests of the Lombard location might get lucky enough to be greeted by a cheerful technician named Amanda, or describing how Dr. William B. Brand (whose forthright answers, caring approach, and genuine sense of concern) really made me feel like part of the family) takes care of describing the surgery and the post op and Dr. Martin Burger (whose sense of humor contributed to his face being broadcast in an informatory video about Lasik) actually takes care of the procedure, I am going into detail about what was promised and what was delivered. Promises: 1) My vision will go from being barely able to see a computer screen to better than normal (20:15) two weeks after the surgery. 2) Post op night glare would improve so much that...I can see clearly now! 3) Hazy vision in dim light after the procedure would clear up These promises have all been kept. I kinda wish that the hole in the wall ambiance of the Lombard location detracted from me claiming that I loved it, so maybe my review would good more attention, but alas, this troupe is legitimately one of the best and they took great care of me. There is nothing more exciting than being able to see every individual leaf on a tree or a star in the sky without having to squint or try find your glasses in your purse in order to enjoy the scenery of this wonderful world. Doctor Brand was able to give me 20/20 vision with just one single procedure that changed my whole life! I can't tank him enough! Did I mention that I got to do this with Groupon? Yes, I found Vision One on groupon and at first of course as any other person I had my doubts, but then I read all the reviews and everyone was so happy I understand now why they took the time to write these reviews about this amazing thing. I went in for my consultation and the next thing I knew... I was scheduling my appointment for the surgery! I couldn't wait another month to see perfectly. Everyone in the Office is extremely nice and they make you feel very comfortable. On the day of the procedure there was a group of about 10-12 people so that you wouldn't be nervous it wade a lot of sense when I was in the situation myself, I saw people coming and going out of the room and they weren't in pain nor were they scared It made me feel way better by the time it was my turn. I swear it felt like it was about 5 minutes and I came out already feeling like a different person. The next day I was a different person. Thanks to the wonders of these Doctors. I had my surgery done in June, and I just went in for a checkup this morning, and everything is absolutely healed, I'm doing great, and my vision is perfect. I recommend Everyone to go and do this that needs it. You will not be disappointed!! My wife and I both got a Groupon for Lasik eye surgery and were quite happy with it. We were hesitant, since it's a coupon for surgery, but read the reviews and decided to go for it. I just had my 1 month followup exam today and my vision is between 20/20 and 20/15. My wife had the same experience. It was extremely quick and was painless, albeit a little nerve wracking. The staff was excellent, though you do kind of get shuffled through like cattle, but overall it was great. We are both super happy that we did it and would do it again, but we don't need to! more

I had my LASIK surgery 10/28/12. My experience was beyond life changing, I am amazed with the results. I put my old glasses on the other day and can't believe I walked around blind for so many years. Dr. W Brand is awesome, he will make you feel totally comfortable plus he's hilarious. Got to trust a doctor that swears. more

Vision One Lasik Center is the best. I couldn't have been any happier with my Lasik experience. I am now seeing 20/15 and glasses/contacts free. I must admit I was a little nervous about the procedure at first, but Vision One Lasik Center made sure to go through the entire process step by step beforehand and discussed the specifics which was very calming. The surgery itself was too easy to be true. I would highly recommend Vision One Lasik Center to anyone interested in Lasik surgery. Be sure to check Groupon, because although the surgery is worth every penny and will end up saving me money in the long run it was nice receiving the Groupon discount. more

My brother had Lasik done a few years ago and he said it was the best money he's ever spent. I was all setup to have my preexam at the same location, then I received a groupon for Vision One Lasik Center. The deal was too good to pass, so I went there and spoke with Dr. Brand. He was super cool and answered all my questions and told me what to expect and I was sold. Now I can see better than previously with contacts. So found this group via groupon.. and had been my best find so far... the price was excellent and even let me do financing.... So pre surgery stuff was fine dr's are very comforting and explaining procedure and post surgery care.... As for surgery that when flawless... as soon as i got out table all ready and improvement.. Only thing not mentioned was that should take fallowing day off or if you have a flexible schedule then your ok cause they need to to go back for a follow up other wise its really only a couple hour for recovery time then you can get back to work...l With in 24rs vision was 20/40. vision after 3 week lil better then 20/20 and looks like i will have final vision of 20/15 at 3 month follow up.. I had my surgery done in September and they were just great. Everyone was nice and made me feel good about the process. I have to admit I was scared to death. It went so well.No pain and my eyesite is fantastic.Drs. Brand and Burger and the whole group made it easy for me. I was there for about 3 hours which was boring but I guess better to be bored than rush me through. Anyone looking for Lasik should go and have a free consultation .
