Dr. Hardy from the SCPH has been a godsend when it comes to my 2 dogs. She is a great vet (she saved my Lily's life), but most importantly she CARES!!!

We have been SCPH patrons for over 18 years and Dr. Hardy is great - very caring and very good. That said, I have to agree with the previous few posts that since the new owners took over we have paid considerably more for typical services and some unnecessary services. Our last 3 bills for 2 cats have been between $500 - $700 which we don't mind paying for them because they mean a lot to us but these visits all took place within the months of Jan '10 and Feb '10. And like the previous post, had a teeth cleaning for one cat scheduled (that we cancelled thankfully) for between $650 - $750 (brutal! cya) more

San Carlos Pet Hospital is now too expensive after the new owner took over! 9/13/2009

I have been going to the San Carlos Pet Hospital for last few years since the price was right and the service was good. However, on my recent visit, I have found that their prices have gone up dramatically after the new owner took over. Not only they are trying to sell all unnecessary services to pet owner but also add many additional charges to the bill. I would not recommend them to pet owner since they overcharge and make it far way too expensive for pet owner. more

Sky High Prices 12/14/2008

I have been going to the San Carlos Pet Hospital for many years for my three dogs. Dr. Hardy and staff were all great. Since the new owners took over the prices have really gone up. The staff are nice and very friendly, but I will possibly have to find a new pet hospital because I can't afford their new prices. I paid $600 for a teeth cleaning for one dog! more

Great Vet 12/19/2007

I am extremely happy with the care that my doggie, DJ jas gotten here at the SCPH. They are extremely caring and very responsive. Dr. Hardy really care about the pets that go there. The staff is fantastic. more

Highly Recommend 3/6/2007

I recently had a very sick dog. This hospital worked with me, got the dog in, and followed up with daily phone calls. They were fabulous in helping me with my concerns and fears and best of all their prices are the most reasonable I have had in this very expensive area. My dog is well and will continue to go there as needed. more

I would recommend any pet owner to come here. I have 2 dogs and have always had the best service and treatment. Delilah and Snickers, my 2 pups are pretty thankful! more

Fine Animal Hospital 5/9/2006

San Carlos Pet Hospital is professional and friendly. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The vets are experienced and professional. Prices are less than some others in the area. I have always felt comfortable bringing my dog to them. more
