Take the tour, or at least wander through the museum to get the lowdown on the ship- if you get to Old Ironsides without a tour, you don't get to wander underneath the deck, where all of the fun is! The Navy guy who was our tourguide was pretty fun. Make sure to say hi to whoever is posted behind the ship when you exit off of the back ramp! Pros: Great Tour, cool ship Cons: a lot of security more

I have been there twice and each time you get the same history and facts, with a little different perspective and flavor depending on your tour guide. It really gives a human aspect to the history. Pros: live tour, Navy Sailors more
