Us Post Office

Went to the post office in oakdale today and let me tell you about the customer service my son and I received. The people at the counter were very rude and not customer orientated in the least. maybe if they don't like their job they should find something else to do for a living instead of making people feel like crap and treating them with absolutely no respect what so ever. more

everybody likes to complain about the Post Office, but yet you haven't worked there. Try it once and see if you say the same things. more

Bad Service! I'm a 7 year resident of Oakdale and this Post Office is the worst I have seen. The women that run the counter are sarcastic and rude. They look crabby and tired everytime I go in there. They love to give little sarcastic comments to the customers. \r \r The short haired lady is queen of the post office grumpies, so look out for her. Her sighs and sarcastic comments are the worst. EVERYTIME, I have had this woman, she makes an unnecessary remark. \r \r One time while in line there was this guy that just needed to give them a package after being told to fill something out. He handed it to one of the ladies and then the queen of grumpies says very loudly, ""I wouldn't have ever let him in."" Really? He wasn't busting in line, he was finishing his transaction! Yesterday, she complained about giving me a customs slip because I could get one myself on the other side of the building, eventhough I was in line mailing a package!\r \r There are a lot of people that are unemployed and would be overjoyed with your job ladies. If it were up to me, I would fire the lot and start over with people that are happy to have a job. \r \r more

Really, there are much better postal locations out there. Try to avoid going in as the two women working at the counter are very conddecending and rude. more

I have lived in Oakdale for over 24 years. It seems as the years roll on, the so-called service from the uneducated postal workers is getting more difficult for them to even do the simplest of tasks. My idiot female carrier have never closes the door to my box, the mail gets wet and when I asked her to please have the courtesy of closing my mailbox so the mail doesn't get wet, she began the verbal attacks upon me for simply asking her is she would like to have wet mail on a daily basis, she has smashed the front of the mail box trying to close it and now she started yelling at me today when I picked up the mail and made a federal case of me asking her to simply close the mailbox because I choose not to have wet mail or to have someone steal my mail because this lazy uneducated idiot has never passed closing your mailbox 101 class. Lazy is Lazy but when it comes to the GED Idiots at the Oakdale Post Office, they are in a class all by themselves!! God help us all.. more

This postal delivery service is awful. The clerks at the post office are usually nice, but the postmaster is not nice and very rude. Today for the first time in 13 years other than a snowstorm last weekend we did not get any mail, our mail boxes are cleared but no mail for anyone in the neighborhood. I have had mail misdelivered, the key for packages left in the outgoing mailbox so I could not retrieve my packages. We use to have a wonderful postman, but they changed his route and the new one is terrible. I tried to call tonight just to leave a voice mail and they do not even have voicemail set up. Seriously get better service. I wonder what I do not get... more

I hate this post office!!! I never get all of my mail and at least twice a week I get my neighbors mail!!! What really gets me going is when I don't get my bills and then have to pay a late fee the next month because the post office is incompetent and didn't give it to me the month before!!!! Plus, my daughter gets mail from family out of state and we hardly ever get it. It pisses me off because getting mail is the highlight of her day and when family sends money for her and she doesn't get it - well that just sucks! Cons: Everything!!!! more
