Not service or community oriented 12/24/2011

I have been going to this pharmacy for 15 years. It used to be a small business attuned to the needs of its customers and sell a wide variety of medical, beauty and gift merchandise. After Aurora purchased it, the merchandise carried by the store was drastically reduced. The business hours have also been cut back. They close at 6 pm weekdays and 3 pm on Saturday. Not designed for the convenience of their customers and certainly not competitive with the big chains like Walgreens and CVS. \r Now they are eliminating the US Postal Station that is contained in the store. I was always grateful for this service and it was the main reason I stuck with the pharmacy. I am going to be switching to another drugstore where I can get a wider variety of merchandise and more convenient hours. more

I was forced to switch from Walgreens because of my insurance and was pleasantly surprised at the small town feel of the Mequon pharmacy. Its possible to get a prescription filled with only a 10 minute wait. The pharmacy staff has always been courteous and knowledgeable. more

Very disappointed in customer service 8/28/2009

I have been with this pharmacy a year and am extremely diappointed in the customer service. I called in a prescription and got a very brusque response and was put on hold. The line was then disconnected so I called back. I got a woman in the pharmacy who was very short with me and the line got disconnected again. I called back and got the cashier and asked if there were any problems with the phone line, she replied that ""she had no idea"" and put me through to the woman in the pharmacy again. I asked the woman if she meant to hang up on me again? She replied ""no, but I'm very busy. I explained that I had been hung up on twice and just needed to confirm that they got my prescription. She replied ""yes"" and hung up again!!!!\r I called back and said ""normally when you hang up on someone by ""accident"" you call them back and apologize or you apologize when they call you back. No such thing as customer service at this Aurora pharmacy, I never got an apology even when I asked for it. Pros: None so far as I can tell! Cons: Poor customer service more
