Uptown Parthenon

We went for lunch and had such large servings we had enough for dinner the following night. It was delicious even reheated! VERY Authentic greek food and great service too. My husband had the beef kabob and Gyros platter. I ordered the trio which consisted of (in english) Spinach pie, Baked eggplant & Baked Macaroni. The Greek names for these foods are much more romantic and sound so much better. The flavors and texture of all 3 of these selections were top notch. Then the server brought us a complimentary dessert which was so light and delicious, made of course with fill and light custard, Melt in your mouth good. Not listed on the menu either.\r Having grown up around Greek food and culture I know Food that is made well & tastes good b/c the ingredients are fresh and everything is homemade. \r I would make this place a regular stop if I lived in the neighborhood!\r more

went in for lunch, ordered off the lunch menu. cashed out and the lunch rang in at this time. the prices were $10 higher than on the lunch menu. the waiter said that the computers change over at 3pm to dinner prices and he nor the manager can do anything about it.. dam rip-off artists. they would not honor the posted lunch prices.. more

I got the pasta with beshama sauce... Don't remember what it was called exactly but it sounded good on the menu until i got it. The pasta was TOTALLY RE HEATED!! it must have been cooked out of a large pan form the morning then just cut dry and put on my plate. I Would not recommend anyone to eat here. Unless they want dry reheated food. more

We ate at Uptown Parthenon for the first time this weekend. The service was good, the food was great. Best of all, the portions were generous at a very reasonable price. We will return many times. Pros: delicious hot food with great service Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

OK I'm sorry you obviously do NOT know your food, there is defiantly no caned vegetables coming out of that kitchen. Uptown Parthenon is a great restaurant and i HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that asks, they serve you a lot of food for a low price, the staff is so friendly and help full i have never had better service any where else i have been. If you like Greek food defiantly the place for you, even if you do not like Greek food they have amazing other options! My favorite waiters are Anastasia and Shelly, also the carry out girls are so sweet and very attentive, i have never had a mistake and i order about once every two weeks! This is a great family place and also has a full bar that is a lot of fun to hang out at with a nice personable professional bartender! One bight of the food and you will be hooked coming back for more!! Pros: Price, Service, Food! Cons: Always busy, but that means they must be doing something right! more

What a great restaurant. If you want authentic Greek cuisine, this would be one great choice for dinner. Even if you don't necessarily enjoy Greek cuisine, they have many other options. Along with the Moussaka and Pastisto, they have a GREAT Chicken Stir Fry and even burgers. Of course, you can have your OPA! fun.
