Best

I've been using uptown car wash for 8 years regularly. I usually see the same employees there who all seem to get along together and have a good time while they work on the cars....

Worst

This is place where your belongings could be stolen during the car wash and nobody would assume any responsibilities. Also I was promised by the car wash manager at least 3 times...

Stay far Away 8/7/2017

This is place where your belongings could be stolen during the car wash and nobody would assume any responsibilities. Also I was promised by the car wash manager at least 3 times that owner will speak to me on the subject, but the owner did not bother to return my phone calls at all. more

Worst Car Wash Ever! 8/18/2006

I'm from LA, and just moved to SD. I was looking for a carwash and came upon this one where I paid 12.99 for a regular carwash. I asked the man, how much for Armorall? He said I'd have to upgrade to 16.99 carwash and I said forget it. He reminded me when I bought the 12.99 that they weren't going to use armorall on my tires. The car came out after they washed it and it had water spots. My car is a brand new beamer that's navy blue. I approached my car, not really paying attention to the spots but to the rims that I have, which are just stock rims. They had brake dust, and dirt, still remaining on the rims! I said, what's going on here, you guys don't just wash this down? Armorall is a whole different story, that's for the tire, but this is part of the car. The man kept trying to wash me and explain that because I didn't get the 16.99 carwash that they dont even touch the wheels! I flipped out and said you have to be kidding me! In LA for 10 bucks we pay and get the full monty! Next, I realized the car remained to have swirls and water spots because people you need to realize this carwash just SPRAYS SOAP AND WATER on the car and drys it with a machine. This is not a 100% hand wash that has brushing machines or people washing the car as it passes through. This touchless is probably the worst carwash because the dirt remains on the car, watersports, etc. It's not a true carwash. Don't waste your money at all at this place. It's a rip off, and this is the equivalent of a Gas Station Automated Carwash and they just bring it out and hardly wipe it down. If you're getting a detail at this place too, you are DEFINITELY wasting your money lol. Later Wanna reach me? socalhadi@aol.com more

Good 10/18/2005

This car wash is good. The people were friendly and they didnt mind fixing their job if something was not up to par. I recommend this car wash only if you are in the area. Otherwise, you'll have to go over to hillcrest to get the job done. The price is about average but you can always find coupons in the penny saver. If I had a choice and a coupon, I'd go over to this paricular car wash. They spoke english, which is a plus! Cashier was nice and extremely helpful, especially since I had a little girl running around! Dont go during lunch, it is really busy then! more

Great car wash and detailers. 8/21/2005

I love this car wash. I've been taking my Rodeo here for over 5 years. And the workers do a very good job whenever I get one of their mini-details 49.95. I like this place because of the fact that it is a touchless car wash and my paint won't be scrapped off. Sometimes though, there are spots of bird poop that are still on the car and I end up flicking it off with my fingernail. All in all, I've been happy with how the guys wash my car. There is a free rewash if it rains shortly after the wash with receipt. They have plenty of seating area where you can wait for your car and a little convenience store with greeting cards, chips, pop and even ice cream. more

A good car wash value 8/11/2005

The average cost of car wash is about $8 and includes a full interior vacuum. They do both sides of the windows and attention is paid to detail, more so than the average car wash. The car wash starts with the vacuum and then they send your car through a presoak through high pressure water jets and soap, and then they hand dry. They offer several frequent customer incentives to bring your car back in. They also have a policy if it rains shortly after the wash they will rewash your car for free with your receipt. more
