Nice place, good food 4/18/2010

My wife and I had a very nice evening here. The place is very cozy, nice and dark with a great old wood bar. Food was excellent, from salads to dessert, everything very fresh and tasty. Nice pool tables (NOT coin operated, which I love). The servers and hostess were all very friendly and helpful. My only issue with the service is that when we first arrived we waited a pretty long time to have our drink order taken and delivered, despite it being very slow. But after that initial delay the service was great and unfailingly friendly for the rest of the night. Pros: Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff Cons: Service a bit slow at times more

Sneaky charges, but I guess it should have figured. . . 9/26/2009

Came in here with my cousin and her fiance (it's been a few months ago now), thought we would grab some happy hour and check it out a little. While ordering our drinks at the bar, we asked if the pool tables were open, the place was completely deserted mind you. Told the bar we were going to play a game and would be ordering food. We played two games and sat by our table for 2 hours, during this time only two more tables became occupied. We ordered apps and each had a couple of drinks. when received our bill it was over 80 dollars, only 50 of that charging for consumables. We were not informed that they're was a charge for pool at all hours, tho we should have assumed it. And even if we had assumed it we never would have expected to pay 30 bucks to play a couple games of pool and eat. Had it been busy we would have moved to a typical table or the bar, but as I said the place was bare! Basically, I would have expected the bar to inform us of the charge, and perhaps our server to let us know that even though we aren't playing pool, we are being charged by the hour to be parked beside the table during their slowest hour. Beyond that, I was incredibly disappointed with the prawns in the anchovy butter. I nearly gaged. By far the worst thing I have ever eaten. I would recommend they remove the item from the menu, if they haven't done so already. Pros: great pool tables, nice atmosphere Cons: terrible seafood more

Great Billiards, Great Customer Service, Excellent Atmosphere All Around! 2/11/2007

This is a great place to come if you are looking for a kick back place to shoot pool and even have a dinner with friends. The waitresses were very friendly and always there to help if you needed something. Their salads are amazing as well as their burgers. Since I am a non-smoker, if helps that they are a non-smoking environment. I would recommend this to all age groups who can attend. Pros: Non Smoking and excellent service with spectacular food Cons: Pool is a little spendy, but still worth it more

A fun, upscale environment 4/30/2006

I had a flatbread pizza, which is an amazing deal for 6 dollars! The staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Pros: Good tables, Old school, 50s vibe, Good food more
