let me give you a real example: for my class a 300 lvl geography course new txt: $150 used Txt: $133 online txt: $22 with delivery charges included try buying online: amazon.com, half.com....search online for your books! more

The worst 4/8/2006

This place stinks. There used to be no options besides this place for textbooks for UB Students. This place charges an arm and a leg for all their items. Thank God there are now local competitors and companies that sell books on the Internet. If you avoid this store you could save yourself hundreds of dollars each semester. more

Stay away 4/2/2006

I went to UB. The biggest mistake I made when I first came here was buying all my textbooks at this store. The markup at this store is ridiculous. Whatever you do, please do not buy your textbooks here. Just look online or go local competitor that sells college text books. Trust me you will save yourself a couple hundred dollars. more

Expensive 3/25/2006

This is the bookstore on campus and therefore it is more expensive. It will have the books for the class you are in but they will charge more for these books. If you are in a bind and need the book head here. If you have time and can check around do so. Check online and other bookstores in the area. more

Expensive books 8/19/2005

This is a very expensive bookstore and literally rip you off for the books. The only positive about this place is that you are sure to find the book you need, but you can do that on ebay or amazon too. So think before you step into this store and be prepared to get out the big bucks. I would suggest checking your book online first. more

Avoid if at all possible 8/17/2005

If you need to purchase textbooks for classes, avoid this place if at all possible. Their prices are way higher than most online places and you can also sell back much higher online. University Bookstore will buy your books for nothing and sell it at huge markup. Check online shops first. more
