Not Great, Not bad 9/22/2005

Univeristy of Texas at Dallas still has a way to go in making it a high end university, but they're getting there. They are expanding at an impressive rate; the student body is growng by leaps and bounds every year. Unfortunately, I do not feel that the university has done a very good job planning and preparing for the larger amount of students. Hopefully new plans for the future will adequately handle the increase. The professors for the most part are pretty good, with the exception of a few, who are either 1) just there for the research or 2) professionals that don't really know how to teach. Both of these hurt the learning experience for the students, and that is really unfortunate. This school is a good pathway to getting a job in Dallas though, as UTD has many ties to a large amount of businesses in the Dallas area. If the University can control the tuition and refrain from raising the price of it, it could once again be called a pretty good bargain for good education. more

I highly recommend the University of Texas At Dallas; it is a great place to get your education. There are a wide variety of degrees offered here, even though the university is best known for engineering and computers. It is also conveniently located in Richardson which makes it easy to get to from the surrounding cities more

AWESOME! 8/25/2005

This is a terrific campus in a very convienient location. I was very fortunate to live a mere 5 miles away. You can find a lot of different college courses offered, and the staff is terrific. My 4 yr old daughter was proud of a rock she found, and a professor took the time to tell her all about it. He truely cared. I am proud to say my degree is from UTD! more

University of Texas at Dallas 8/10/2005

This University offers many degrees and very strong in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering specializations. The downfall to this school is that it keeps raising fees and tuition prices. Other than that, it is a great school, decent campus and valued professors. This is a commuter school, therefore the true college life experience is not fully present there. more

MBA program 8/4/2005

I am currently in the part-time mba program at The university of Texas at Dallas. It is really hard to balance work and school on a daily basis. I like the program and faculty at UTD. I was surprisingly satisfied with the level of education I am receiving. I always thought I would go to a Top 10 school but because my company is paying for this I am here. more
