very very good staff 10/19/2010

The staff was very attentive and helpful during an emergency situation. My husband was sent to the hospital in an ambulance. The front desk immediately called and let me know. They also printed out directions to get to Kaiser. The food attendant offered to let me use their tray to bring up food for my family. more

Great location. We came for a bicycle event at PSU campus. It was very convenient. All staff were very helpful, most were extremely friendly. Good job! more

Enjoyed Everything! 8/6/2010

We enjoyed everything... From Willy at the counter to Mr. Pierre taking us to this hotel and back to the airport. Close to everything was perfect. Our daughter will be attending PSU so we will be back staying here again.? more

We have found the staff at University Place to be very friendly, hospitable and helpful. We're very pleased to be staying here. I would especially like to mention the (Russian?) lady who has been cleaning our room. She has been excellent. Very much appreciated.? more

Enjoyed my stay very much. Nice, clean, comfortable accommodations. Peaceful stay and was able to get a great nights sleep. The desk clerks were always very helpful, courteous and gracious hosts!! I would recommend for others visiting PSU and downtown Portland to consider staying at University Place! Thanks so much for a very enjoyable stay. Portland and it's people are very lovely and I look forward to moving here this Fall as a new PSU student!! :) more

Though the hotel is not new, I find that it is very well kept and clean. For the price, it is an exceptional value. The rooms are always clean and neat. I am particularly impressed with the front desk staff, who are very helpful and accommodating. My personal favorite is Willie, who goes out of his way to make me feel welcome. more
