I moved on 12/23/09 from Seattle to Atlanta. Quote was for $4K and the bill is for over $10K. They forged my wife's signature on severals docs. Said I had 20K pounds but refuse to reweigh. Won't negotiate with AMSA representative or investigator from FMCSA. Did not even have insurance in affect when they moved my goods. Owner Eyal Ben Dror has a very spotty history in the moving industry. Google his name and check into public records. We are sleeping on air mattresses for over a month now. Universal Moving and Storage is threatening to auction off everything we own. I just used Universal Moving and I had a very good experience. The foreman Chris Evans was astounding. He really looked after our stuff and made sure that we were happy. We got all our stuff moved in at a good time and it was a pleasant experience. There was no damage and we were very happy with the turn around time of getting our stuff to our location on time. My job circumstances changed after I had already given these people a deposit for the moving fees so I was no longer required to move,however I have not received my guaranteed refund even after numerous calls over several months. They just keep claiming that ""someone"" will get back to me or I will receive a check in the mail. I'm convinced that they have no intentions of re-paying me. more

Please see the complaints listed on Better Bus. Bur. They doubled our rate and have not delivered our goods and are now already 5 days late. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company that prides itself in excellent customer service. Cons: Overcharge, do not perform as promised more
