I do not need a fancy showroom or glossy brochures. I want a product that is well made, delivered and installed on time, and a good price. Universal Iron Doors fits the bill. Sam was very easy to work with. I was able to customize my front door and had it installed in San Diego in a few weeks. It is solidly made and looks awesome. My neighbors are jealous! I would not hesitate recommending these guys. more

Great products and service! 12/20/2011

Unlike the prior review, mine was just the opposite, I also have a new construction near Eagle Rock. I bought double doors for the front of the house. The price was ubeatable. I loved the doors so much I ordered a wrought iron double garage door as well. The garage door had to be custom made and Sam was right on time with his delivery estimate. The people that came out to install the door were super friendly and knew their stuff - only knock was they were using Dewalt tools when everyone knows Makita rules! :-) Seriously, the garage door was a beast (and gorgeous!) and the install was perfect. They even came out on a Saturday to wrap it up after working late into Friday night. I'm sorry the previous reviewer had an issue after the sale, but mine was just the opposite. I noticed the latch on the front door was loose and Universal actually came out to the house at no charge and not only took care of it, but touched up some of the paint. Beautiful door and railing! \r \r After a TON of research on iron doors I ordered a door and railing from Universal for my new construction home. They were priced right and delivered on time, and best of all they look fabulous! There was an issue with the seal for the door but Sam got it resolved like a pro. The doors here look amazing while at the same time they are durable. Also, they offer great service and low prices. They also have well designed railings and lamps, so that you have a variety of ways to design the image of your home. more

nice iron work and i did not go over my budget! 3/4/2011

i was looking around for a door that's nice looking at the same time strong and solid, but i did not have a lot of money to play with. i found these guys in the valley and i got a good deal on my door. gotta warn ya, if you want custom work done, you need six weeks in advance. the wait is worth it. i highly recommend checking these guys out before going anywhere else. more

i got my front door entrance last week and people at universal iron doors were very helpful and their service was pretty good. i'm buying another one as back door entrance. the workmanship if very good. their iron doors feels solid and secure but not too heavy. they came with cool ball bearing hinges and all the hardware that goes with it. more

Very happy with my new door! 9/20/2010

After looking around at several different Iron door companies my wife and I came across Universal Iron Doors. The salesperson, Sam, gave us an excellent deal on a new double door.
