At 6 pm on Tues 7/8/08 - my water was turned off. I called immediately and the business office determined it was not for lack of payment. The after hours number is an answering service and the sole only technician will not return my call. It is now 8 pm and he did call me but said he has not been out here so someone else must of turned it off - not him. He will be over here some time tonight and will try to turn it back on. When I called at 6:05 they told me me woud call me within 5 minutes. He did not. I had to call back 2 more times before he finally called me back. He did not apologize - he just keeps making up excuses - at first he told the answering service there was a problem in Charter Pointe so I went next door and my neighbor has water....so I called that lie. Now he is trying to say some valve closes by itself and he will have to see if that is the problem. Why can't he just apologize and be honest. I hate liars worse than anything. This would be understandable if they wouldn't tell moronic lies to cover up their mistake. They shut my water off instead of shutting off the water of someone who hadn't paid their bill. What ever happened to courtesy and honestly United Water? Shame on you and your employees. I asked the answering service to get me a superviser and she said I would have to call back during business hours. Believe me -I will. The techs name is Paul that is giving me the run around.
