I left a great job to go to this job, it was 5 min. from home so I felt lucky to not have the long drive. When they offered me the job, they asked me to start in 1 wk with a signing bonus. So I only gave my prior employer a 1 week notice, which I felt really bad. But I felt this company was my future. Warning 1. You have to scan in & out to go to the bathroom, I am 52 yrs old and when I have to go I have to go.. 2. You have to go to each office and say goodnight because people get offended when you don't say goodnight.(Felt like kindergarden). I was suppose to learn how to process payrolls in 2 days, impossible with one day of watching. 3. Got in trouble for not locking my computer when I left to go to the bathroom and I wasn't doing anything confidential. They have cameras in all areas of the company, very strange. 4. I was suppose to be a Excel Expert but they never tested me before offering me the job, the ad said I would be tested. I know how to use excel but just in the manner I was self taught and was not up to there standards. My prior employer was closing the business in the 4th qtr of this year. I didn't want to be the last to find a job, so I gave up my retension bonus of $12K. To work for UAP, what a mistake. IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD!!! THEN TRUST YOUR GUT!! more

Person represented she was from State of Michigan Unemployment offices and needed me to call her right away. It was a scam. When I confronted her about it, she stopped talking. I told her I was going to the Better Businses Bureau. That's where I'm going next. Cons: Everything more

I'm surprised that there are any negative reviews about this company. Looking closer, I noticed that the only negative comments are from people who do not use their service. All of their existing customers, including me, love them. Maybe these Negative-Nellies should sign up so they can see how great UAP really is. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing yet more

I called the number after a message was left for me and was met with a rude receptionist who would not even give me the real company name, I had to find that on the internet. What's the big secret I ask, and was told she was not allowed to tell me what they do there. Buyer Beware!! more

Be careful of this company. They have someone call to set an appointment and because they can't even get that right, they have to call back at least 4 times, and then the salesman that shows up smells like he had a few at lunch. And they want you to trust them. Anyone can do a search for a company in Mi through the state, I'd check this out out with a fine tooth comb before I would even think of doing business with them. Cons: let the statement reflect my opinion more

I agree with the previous review. We have seen many PEOs and most only care about their profits. UAP is different. They have taken good care of us for many years. They are the best ones out there that we know of. Pros: Quality of service more

Our company has been with 4 different PEO's before finding UAP. We have finally found one we can stick with. UAP is accurate, professional, knowledgeable, and priced better than any so far. The staff is friendly and extremely responsive. I cannot believe how much of a difference exists between good and bad PEO's. I would highly recommend UAP and be happy to talk with anybody in more detail about my experience with them. Pros: Everything so far more
