I left a great job to go to this job, it was 5 min. from home so I felt lucky to not have the long drive. When they offered me the job, they asked me to start in 1 wk with a signing bonus. So I only gave my prior employer a 1 week notice, which I felt really bad. But I felt this company was my future. Warning 1. You have to scan in & out to go to the bathroom, I am 52 yrs old and when I have to go I have to go.. 2. You have to go to each office and say goodnight because people get offended when you don't say goodnight.(Felt like kindergarden). I was suppose to learn how to process payrolls in 2 days, impossible with one day of watching. 3. Got in trouble for not locking my computer when I left to go to the bathroom and I wasn't doing anything confidential. They have cameras in all areas of the company, very strange. 4. I was suppose to be a Excel Expert but they never tested me before offering me the job, the ad said I would be tested. I know how to use excel but just in the manner I was self taught and was not up to there standards. My prior employer was closing the business in the 4th qtr of this year. I didn't want to be the last to find a job, so I gave up my retension bonus of $12K. To work for UAP, what a mistake. IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD!!! THEN TRUST YOUR GUT!!
