Well laid out. Mostly very friendly staff. Some excellent bargains. Really everything your could want from a thrift store**. Only drawback is that there's often a long wait for the 2 dressing rooms. (**unless you're a lazy self-centered idiot who can't bring a shopping cart back) more

Grocery cart... 4/7/2008

I was in one day and I had bought a few items that I needed to use the cart to my car to unload. Either manager or assistant manager asked me to bring back the cart inside the store when I'm done?! Why? I'm paying the employees to do their job inside or outside of the store, they can go into the parking lot and collect the carts. I think it was a joke because either Target or Wal-Mart doesn't do that! Shame on you, Unique Thrift Store, you don't appreciate your shoppers. more

Can’t Keep a Good Thrift Store Down 2/28/2006

Some of you may remember the thrift store on Colfax with the great big giraffe at the front of the building, that was displaced in order to make room for the huge Wal-Mart that went in on the corner of Wadsworth and Colfax. I shopped at Unique Thrift Store years ago, and actually DID find that it was pretty unique, with treasures and prices that you don’t find at most thrift stores. Well, apparently the thrift store is still around, just in a different location: Arvada, to be exact. It was always a great thrift store, and I’m sure it’s just as good in its new location! more
