Underhill's Fine Wood Furn

We have bought several pieces of furniture for our house from Underhills and have been very pleased with the selection, the representatives (ours was Barbara at that time in Redmond), and on time delivery. The furniture arrived in matter of days. Our bed had a scratch on it and a service person was sent almost immediately to help us out. They have limited selection but they are all very good quality. Our son's bedroom furniture is almost 5 years old and still looks outstanding. We also receive compliments for our "Gathering table". more

Underhill's Furniture is a fine place to look for reasonably priced furniture with a little style to it. We purchased our dining room table and chairs here and several years later we are still very pleased with them. The sales people are helpful and most importantly - not pushy! We are in the market for a new bed for our 5 year old and will definitely take a look here! more

These folks have 3 stores in the Puget Sound area and have been around since 1946. When our kids transitioned out of cribs and into beds this is the place we finally found what we were looking for at a price we could afford. They know furniture and have many selections of beds. more

I stopped by Underhills in summer when they had what appears to be an annual outdoor furniture sale. They were offering Adirondack chairs with foot rests for about $70. I've seen these chairs go on websites and at specialty patio furniture stores for over $200 so I stopped by. The chairs I saw outside were all nicely painted in bright colors and assembled. The chairs Underhills was selling were actually unassembled and unpainted. I placed the order for the chair inside the store--the sales people were pretty friendly and approachable--and was able to drive to their warehouse to pick up the box. It was immediately available, and I loaded it up and took it home. At home I was able to stain the unfinished wood. My husband did have to help assemble the chair , and it was fortunate he did so, because their instructions were backwards. However, we have a nice Adirondack chair for a pretty good price, it was quicker than trying to build it ourselves, and I would definitely buy another unassembled one from them. more

I looked at Underhill when trying to find a bedroom set. I was impressed with the selection (even though it is a small store, they have a variety). The prices were probably about average, but several clearance pieces were incredibly cheap. The delivery was reasonable and quick, the service people nice and I was overall very happy with the furniture. more
