Good: I love that there is philosophy built into the curriculum. The kids are learning manners and proper behavior for a variety of situations. The adults are mentally engaged, physically challenged, and enjoying themselves. This is a place of substance, discipline, respect, and quality people. I couldn't reccommend a martial arts school any higher!. Bad: I am sorry that they haven't franchised yet. I have family in other parts of Florida that would love to train at USK.. Improvements: Open the chain of schools.. more

USK Karate, Experience it! 2/14/2010

I have been a student at USK Karate for 10 years. The school has helped me, my husband and daughter grow and develop in many ways: physical strength and coordination, concentration, as well as develop life skills applicable inside and outside our dojang. There is a clean, caring family environment suitable for all ages and capabilites. more

This is a REAL MARTIAL ARTS School! Instructors are very gifted both technically and as teachers. Great location and great shopping and parking! You get much more than what you pay for. Highly recommend visiting them! more

Best Martial Arts School in Broward County 3/3/2009

Solid, polite, well-mannered instructors with a program that really teaches the values that martial arts are supposed to be about. Students are taught to be polite and respectful to everyone. There's a lot of philosophy in the class and its explained to the students in a manner they can understand and relate to. Plus the art they teach is a real martial art with a lot of content. From what I've seen, their students at one year have more capability than other schools' students at 3 years. I've seen a lot of teens and adults as well and they all seem to come out of class sweating and smiling. The administration is understanding and easy to work with. When you add up all their qualities this is one top-of-the-line studio. more
