Find another mover 2/8/2012

I do not recommend this business. The movers showed up late, added a "surcharge" to the bill ($150.00 over the quote) because the job took longer than they had thought. We paid them relunctantly. A large desk was damaged due to the mover underestimating the door size. Although they did provide a furniture repair person the desk could not be restored after 2 visits and we just gave up. One would think that we might have been offered at least some monetary compensation. This company does not stand behind it's quote or it's work so it is best to find another mover. more

Great movers! 4/19/2006

I used Two Men & A Truck in Plainfield for my father's move in January. The woman I spoke with in their office was very friendly and thorough when going through the estimate. I scheduled my move and they sent me a packet of information to prepare me for my father's move. The day of the move they showed up on time and the movers were very polite and took very good care of his furniture. They wrapped his dressers in plastic and put their blankets on all his belongings when they were in their truck. My husband and I were very happy that the total moving price was very affordable and well worth it! We would definitely recommend Two Men & A Truck to our friends and family! PROS: Showed up on time, nice people to work with, handled furniture with care CONS: None! more

I only called for a quote on this one but that was enough for me. Their customer service is poor at best. There was nothing at all in the phone conversation that made me want to use this company. PROS: close to home, price reasonable CONS: poor customer service, very limited availability for times and dates more
