Tweeter Center 5/5/2006

The Tweeter Center is your typical outdoor mega-amphitheater. There's two types of seating-- one is covered and has assigned seating, and the other is a giant open lawn. Acoustics aren't too bad, but the roar of the crowds in the lawn seats combined with overcompensating speakers pretty much kill any sound balance the artist is trying to achieve. Still, it's a reasonably-priced venue for many big name groups. more

So much for VIP 3/28/2006

The last time that I went here I had a VIP pass, and it didn't take me all that far. I got to climb a bunch of steps to get to my box and have a hot dog, but all of the other VIP amenities were less than desirable. One thing is that the people that work there are all nice, but I guess that if I got to hang out and get paid to direct people and watch concerts then I would be alright with my day. I had a lot of fun here, and would recommend it. more

The place is really too big to actually enjoy the music unless you are up front. And then again, the acoustics are often kind of off, so that even the front rowers cannot hear the show. This place is fun to bring a group of your youngish friends and sit on the lawn in the summer time. It almost doesn’t matter who is playing you will have fun dancing!! more
