Tutor Time Child Care-Learning

Tutor Time is no longer the disorganized disaster of 2009-2010. There is a new director who is quite helpful and caring. The children are well cared for. The staff seems to be commited to helping a child learn. It is no longer a filthy facility, in fact, it has all new furniture and toys. I suggest checking it out for yourself. more

My son was in their infant room for a few months and I had to get him out of there. They often wouldn't feed him(5mo. then) for 5-6 hours, changed diapers as seldom as twice a day during a 9 hour stay, ignored my son in his crib, kept putting him back to sleep in the crib instead of interacting with him, had no idea what he did during the day, didn't pay attention to my notes, didn't follow their own rules, were dirty, and etc. How many times did I find my baby staring at the ceiling when the caregivers were just chatting among themselves? Many. This place is absolutely horrible. Go elsewhere. You can do much much better. Don't believe me? Go in there for a visit and see what your instinct says. And trust it. Pros: Close to CHP, Good Security? Cons: Everything Else-seriously. more

I contacted them about sending my child there a couple days a week and the woman, Ellen, who was in charge was extremely condescending and unfriendly. I would suggest people NOT send their children there. If they can't be gracious while trying to sell OVERPRICED services, then how do you expect them to care for your children and encourage kind, compassionate growth? more

The teachers personally are wonderful. It's just the management and how the place is run needs much improvement. The child to teacher ratio can be overwhelming. They may not be completely neglected but sometimes my child felt left out sometimes. A developmental problem was told to be a behavioral problem, we were just told that it had to improve if we wanted to keep him there without so much as an effort to help the child in conjunction with the parents. My child regularly did not want to go to school. He was much happier when we pulled him out and started another school. more
