Turner Job Corps Center is a Job Corps regional provider of education and career training programs. The center focuses on providing these services to persons between the ages of 16 and 24. Services include training for a long-term, specialized career through the following: high school diploma program, general equivalency diploma, work-based learning opportunities, career development plan and hands-on training. Turner Job Corps Center partners with Dougherty High School, Darton College, Albany Technical College and Albany State University. The center is one of the largest Job Corps campuses with more than 900 students. They are able to choose from a number of educational programs, from asphalt paving to welding. Turner Job Corps Center is located along Schilling Avenue in Albany, Ga.
