A friend in the city recommended this spot in NYC. There aren't very many french places near me in CT so its a treat to eat it on a trip to the city. The setting is really intimate and the choice of classic French music adds to the ambiance. Oysters were fresh and served with a mignonette sauce. The roasted duck was delicious, it had a lightly sweetened sauce that went well with the crispy salty taste of the duck skin. The table next to us had the souffle for dessert and I was jealous, they take a while to make so you have to order it with your meal, so unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it. It looked simply to die for and I will be trying it on my next visit!
