Trinity Lutheran School 1

Both of my children currently attend Trinity, and I believe that they receive an excellent education. I currently have one child in Kg. and one in fifth grade. Both have attended since preschool, and I am sorry to hear that someone had a negative experience. I have found the teachers to be receptive to my children's needs and open to my input. I would encourage anyone who has had difficulty to be persistent and to come up with suggestions if they are unhappy with the outcome of a situation. No, I don't think that it is likely that they will expel a child immediately but that they would work with that child to change his or her behavior and that is one of the reasons why I like Trinity. They encourage my children to learn about God and to live through his word. Their class sizes are small, and they appear to be learning at a higher rate than the public school . The only negative aspect to this may be the children's work load in the upper grades, but I believe that it is better preparing more

I sent my 2 children to Trinity. My daughter liked her 2nd grade class and I felt the teacher was capable though didn't have much personality or creativity at all. \r My son, on the other hand, had a TERRIBLE experience in the Kindergarten class. He was bullied mercilessly. I tried talking to the teacher, principle and was open to talking to the parents of the boys involved. No one did a thing. Come to find out, the boys' fathers are both Lawyers and I guess they had some pull in the congregation so their little monsters got to stay and I had to pull my children out and homeschool them. \r PLEASE don't send your kids there. Too much is swept under the rug to keep up appearances.. more

In researching an early childhood center, Trinity Lutheran was high on our list. Teachers here are incredibly friendly and class sizes are small. Friends of ours sent their daughters here, and their only regret was transferring them to public schools in the fourth grede due to a move to a different community. This Center will give your small child the personal attention they deserve while also offering great opportunity for socialization. As schools become more and more intense, Trinity Lutheran should be a great start for any future student. more

Friends of ours send their two daughters here and rave about the education they have received at Trinity Lutheran. The Edwardsville school district is not at all bad...but the religious aspect of Trinity as well as the small class sizes 'sold' them on sending their girls here. They have been thrilled with the education the girls have received - both are incredibly intelligent and involved in extracurriculars. more
