Treasured Child

I love shopping here. The people are friendly and don't mind your kids playing with the toys while you shop. You have to do a bit of browsing, and I would suggest stopping by frequently to get the best items. I have found the prices to be much more reasonable than other children's consignment stores. When you do find a treasure, it is usually at a much better price than you would get elsewhere (I got a Janie and Jack sweater for less than $5!). You can also find good buys on toys and other children's items. I found a play yard, a Little Tykes slide and even a Schoenhut baby grand piano there at really low prices. The downside is that there are not as many high end items as some other stores...but it is a consignment store. If you are looking for good play clothes and don't want to spend too much, this place is perfect! more

This store is packed wall to wall with everything for young kids including baby equipment. It’s a small store and can be hard to maneuver around in so forget brining a stroller in. I have found that it is hit or miss with this store. They seem to accept almost any clothing items that aren’t stained or torn so you can find some vintage Gymboree with those loud colors mixed in with newer styles. I think they should pay better attention to quality of the items they take in as some of the clothing is very faded and well washed. Some of the prices are a bit high also for some brand s that can be purchased cheaper new especially for brands found at Walmart, Target, etc. They do allow drop off consigning which is very helpful as you do not have to wait for an appointment. more

This store has a good selection of used children's items (and some maternity clothes too). I haven't been too impressed with the quality of the children's clothes but perhaps that is because I thought the prices were a little high. They do have a large selection of books and videos which is great. The main problem I have with the pricing is that it is dependent on the date you purchase it. So the price goes down the longer it is on the shelf. It's a great concept, but it takes time to figure out the price quickly. The parking is usually very good as well even though it is in a small mall. more
