I have never met another Veterinarian like Maria Williams. She gives the human time and sincere compassion. She provides an environment for animals that is softer and less clinical as it calms them while they visit. I never feel rushed and her advice is experience tested and she never pushes a pet owner to do as she says. She merely educates and provides options. As a licensed pet sitter for thirteen years I am advising all my customers to consider the Holistic approach as it is preventative and gentle on the pocketbook. Dr. Williams thinks outside of the clinical box and my dogs have benefitted from her care and treatment. more

My first experience was great. The mobile van was out of this world, they have everything aboard the van that you see in their office and the prices were affordable. They do not try to rip you off. I was very impressed with thier services more

My dog, Havana, was having lots of tummy issues and I didn't have a vet yet since we were new to San Antonio. Traveling Tails was able to get me in very quickly and Dr. Tommack was able to calm all my concerns and get Havana back to good health in no time at all! I had a great experience and am confident that I have Havana in the care of a great vet! My dog is like my child and I would only choose the best for her! more

Because the location is close to where I work I decided to take my cat in for a visit. While the office staff was wonderful Dr. Tommack was not. During the visit Dr. Tommack frequently interrupted, made rude comments and left the room before I could address my concerns. She spent maybe five or six minutes in the room with me, which most of the time she was doing the talking. At no time did Dr. Tommack discuss fees with me. She walked into the room introduced herself and kept talking, I was able to only get a few words in, and then she left. I felt as if she was to busy talking and not listening. I don?t know if she was doing this on purpose or if this is just the way she is. Either way I was not happy and will never go back again. \r When it came time to pay the bill I was especially upset. I had no idea the entire time Dr. Tommack was in the room talking that she was performing procedures nor did I know what the price for those procedures was. I began using Traveling tails because they were simply close to my apt. However, I stayed with them because they were professional, competitively priced and most importantly I felt they truly had a bond with my Trax. Now that I have moved from the SA area, I am having a difficult time trying to find another vet provides everythiing that traveling tails provided... professionally and emotionally. I love that these folks come to our house & are able to cater to large parrots. They have clipped our feisty amazon's wings a few times & it makes it so much easier on us. The prices are not out of line either, especially since they do house calls! Pros: Knowledgeable & they do house calls! Cons: None known more

Traveling Tails is a great concept - They will come to your house or you can visit their clinic - The Vets are all excellent - Their rates are pretty good as well - They took very good care of our Rottweiler up until the end of his struggle with bone cancer - They came to our house and put him down here so we could have him at home for the last few hours - I highly recommend Traveling Tails - more

I first started using Traveling Tails for the convenience as I had 3 dogs and transporting them to and from the clinic was a problem. I keep using them for the professionalism and knowledge of the doctors. They have responded quickly to all my concerns and questions about my dog's health. The staff is very caring. Traveling Tails was so helpful when our regular vet couldn't fit us in. They were compassionate and gave us our options with our cat. The staff was really nice and helpful and allowed us to make payments since the procedure was expensive. They were willing to work with us and get our pet the best care he needed. more
