I've been to this clinic several times in the past few years, for various vaccinations and tests required for certain overseas travel. When I first visited the Travel & Immunization clinic (in 2007), I was fine with the customer service and resigned to the prices. \r
Recently, I've once again needed to make a few visits to prepare for an upcoming trip, and I can't believe how far downhill they've gone. I've NEVER in my life been to a doctor's office that was so disorganized. The people in charge of the front office really, really need to get their acts together. They've, in the past two weeks, neglected to record my appointments, advised me to walk-in when an appointment was sorely needed (I was actually mildly chastised by a nurse today for showing up without and appointment, after the front office told me to walk in!)...I've spent cumulative hours waiting in their office for them to locate my records and understand the purpose of my visit. I have to explain my needs repeatedly, to different and to the same people--I feel like what's needed the most in the front office are better listening skills (the fact that they've never once said my name correctly--I stopped correcting them my second visit--is a minor point) and some sort of EFFECTIVE intra-office communication system.\r
Prices are very high--one ten-minute visit (not counting the waiting room time), during which the doctor took my blood pressure and then simply, literally read my completed questionairre back to me, cost me $180. Insane!
Pros: Offers lots of services
Cons: VERY disorganized; fairly expensive
