We were drawn in by the 10% coupon the hostess handed us the night before. We ordered a $40 bottle of Chianti, vintage 2006. We received a vintage 2007 for the same price. The food was ok, but not worth the price. Kids menus were also an initial draw for us, but after receiving the penne with butter, and mozzarella grilled cheese, each for $9, plus milk for an extra $3 each, we were feeling a little taken. Then the main course...Salmon Griglia--salmon with cooked celery and other assorted veggies, with a dijon sauce. Again, not a bad meal, but not worth the $26 we paid. Then to top it off, when we got the bill, it was over $101, for one main dish, one antipasta side dish, two kids meals, and a bottle of wine. The bill didn't even reflect a full 10% off that we were promised by the coupon. Needless to say, we felt like we were taken for a ride in a tourist trap, and I believe that is exactly what it is. If you want to be overcharged for what you are getting, by all means, go here. If you want to save money and have a better experience, go Fred's Mexican Restaurant, or Cremerie Chocolat, both right next door, and both well worth the money.
Cheers.
