At last my journey is over. Tucked away in the heart of Towson I have found my Gem of a Salon. Maria the owner can cut, style and color my hair with the finest of products and the utmost precision. I actually get compliments on my hair. It's such a pleasure to find one person that can do it all. Cleanliness, friendliness and communication abound in this salon, There is even free parking. If you are looking for hair extensions this is the place. Seriously thinking about indulging, but I love watching the results of others, totally natural and amazing. Jessica the receptionist refused to honor my groupon because she didn't have any openings before the groupon expired. Groupon is so professional they refunded my $50.00. I love groupon. Tranquille hair and body is not worthy of new customers. I went to their grand opening and their service has definitely deteriorated. Stay away from this poorly run money oriented hair salon. more

I have been to salons all over the world, I am on TV and only trust a few people with giving me the look I need. Jenna has given me what I want every time, her work is flawless and I get compliments over and over again, She was even there for me when someone ruined my hair...she stepped in to fix it back to what I love. She's so happy and cheerful and talented. She can't be beaten..and if I have to move..my hair will be devastated.! more

I followed Susan Downs from 2 different salons and she's great at taking the time and making sure I get what I want with highlights, cut and style wise every time. I wouldnt have anyone else cut or highlight my hariThe atmosphere is very nice with various drinks and goodies offered while you relax and be pampered. The prices are reasonable too with plenty of free parking. Susan's awesome! more

I live in Bel Air and had never been to Tranquille Hair & Body... but I received a gift certificate for my birthday so I gave it a try. And let me tell you... I will be back! Maria did my hair - and she was fabulous! She colored, cut, and styled my hair like never before. I told her that I had a special occasion that night and she made sure that my hair looked perfect! I also got a facial and pedicure, which were amazing. I'm not a big ""Facial"" person as I always break out the next day from the products. Well, that wasn't true this time... my skin felt so clean and soft. I had never heard of Yonka skincare products before, but I'm hooked now! And the special treat of the day was the Chocolate Peppermint Patty Pedicure! It was amazing... and even included a special drink! more

But I'm very happy that she is here at Tranquille. The salon is lovely and has such a soothing feeling from the moment you walk in. I cannot say enough positive things about Tranquille Hair & Body. The front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating, each of the stylists seem to do a wonderful job, the salon is both beautiful and calming, and there are always snacks and drinks. I see Susan Downs, who is without a doubt, the best stylist I have ever seen. For 10 years I have been having my hair both colored and chemically relaxed, and of all the people I have seen in various states, she has surpassed them all. Recently she put in Hairloc extensions for me, and I LOVE them. They look so natural that when I returned to work the next day people did not realize that I had them. I receive constant compliments on my hair, and I owe all of that to Susan. I would recommend Tranquille to anyone, and feel very fortunate to have found it! more

Tranquille salon is simply wonderful! Beautiful serene enviroment, great music, relaxing vibes~everything supports the experience of pampering. I've been blessed to have Susan Downs cutting and coloring my hair for many years and she is simply the best! People always comment on my hair and ask where I go for my hair care. My last appointment at Tranquille began with a warm greeting on the lovely outdoor patio, then I was invited in and immediately offered refreshments ...I waited a very short time enjoying a perfect cup of coffee and cookies, while chatting with the gals there. My shampoo girl gave me a delicious head massage and shampoo/conditioning and then Susan masterfully cut my hair.I felt refreshed and beautiful. Hair styling for men is just a important and personal as for women. Men may not know it but what you tell your stylist stays with the stylist, it is all part of the service. \r \r Susan Downs has been styling my hair for more then 15 years. Seeing her once every three weeks is a pleasure because of her professionalism and expertise in providing me the service I enjoy. Equally is the staff at Transquille which adds to the experience. I love the location and the surroundings. You are always greated at the door with a smile and Hello. Given a call to remind you of your appointment is a great service for me as I my schedule needs to be flexible. Quant little shop, warm atmosphere that makes me want to come back so I can relax in my busy day with the treatment of my choice. The staff like what they do and it shows. The clients seems to be relaxed and like being there. No one is in a hurry to leave. \r \r As for Susan you men need to experience how she works. She is very accomodating with my schedule. As for her work, I can let her do anything with my hair and people have always remarked about the change and difference it makes on my appearance. Sometimes she cuts it long for winter and short for summer. I am a senior now and she still styles me to look younger. Just like a doctor you have to trust your stylist as she is the expert. We men are not vein with hair but lets face it we like to feel important and with a fresh styling you feel like a new man and my wife approves with her choice of style. Susan is the best. more

Great Experience! I rarely write reviews but thought this place was worth an attempt. Towson's hidden treasure is located on Delaware Ave. There's a nice size parking lot right in front of this upscale establishment.. You must come in to Tranquille Hair and Body for their new Yonka facial! It's an hour and 15 minutes of pure heaven. The estetician at Tranquille is Allison. She is truly amazing! The same facial anywhere else would not be the same, without Allison's expertise. This facial leaves not only your face cleansed and feeling absolutely wonderful, but also your back. Yes, with this facial you also get a back massage! You must come in to try this facial. I highly recommend it! You will love it! more

After seeing all these good reviews on here, I decided to try out Tranquille and booked a brow wax with Allison and a haircut with Jenna. Both girls were very friendly and did a good job and really listened to what I wanted rather than just doing whatever they wanted. The shampoo girl gave a great head massage which was a nice treat. The shop is very cute and I will definitely return!! more

I finally decided to grow my hair out, but wasn't sure on how to style it, comb it, or even handle it. I needed a new color and shape. I went to see Jenna for some good advise. I was immediatly comfortable with her. She asked questions regarding me and my hair, what I wanted and what I did with my hair. Having no help from me at all Jenna advised me on a new cut and color.
