Brookline Adult Ed. consistently has a wide variety of classes offered at a good price (I've been taking French for years at about 1/3 of the price of a similar course through the French Library). The cooking classes are creative, and they have so many different art and other things to pick from. The high school classrooms aren't always the most comfortable, but parking in the evenings isn't too bad (though the same can't be said for the courses offered near Coolidge Corner), and it's a very easy walk from Brookline Hills T stop. You can easily register online or by phone. The catalogs are available all over town or online.
