Worst Pet Store Ever 9/25/2011

I've lived in Loveland for over a decade and each time I've visited this store curious to see if the conditions have changed, I'm sad to say they haven't. The prices are not at all competitive, the conditions of the aquariums and cages are appallingly filthy and unkempt, and the owner seems to always be in a crabby mood making me feel as though I was inconveniencing him with each inquiry. The source of their puppies may not be puppy mills, but the conditions they are kept in don't seem much better. A pet shopper can certainly do better than this stinky run down business. more

Great store 9/19/2011

Our family has purchased 3 puppies form here this past year. They all have been happy and healthy. We've had no medical problems with them whatsoever. The puppies don't come from puppy mills. It's obvious that they don't. All of the animals in the store appear to be healthy and happy. The owner is very helpful. I'd recommend this store for your pet and/or pet needs. more

DURTY/NOT THE BREED THT IS SAID TO BE 7/20/2011

This place is so dirty fish tanks look like the have not been cleaned since who know how long. was looking for a dog and seen on the paper this adorable Pomeranian once they took it out it was not even close to a pom it looked like a mixed chihuahua. They let u take the puppy out in a so called yard witch is so filthy and all kinds of junk around it. Too me these poor dogs looked like they were from PUPPY MILLS , NO THANK YOU. Would Not recommend AT ALL! more

No way! 1/4/2011

My family and I went to this ----hole looking for products for our hedgehog. The hippie looking owner was congenial, but pushing us to buy a wire exercise wheel, which is a no-no for hedgies. Everything in the store was overpriced, covered in dust, and just looked and felt GROSS. He had ""new"" cages and aquariums for sale that had so much filth in them, wire cages were rusting and full of cobwebs. The aquariums were no longer clear and looked like they were just drained this morning. None of the animals seemed socialized AT ALL. The entire store smelled awful, and the owner lit an incense stick after my 5 yo son said it stunk badly. I didn't think a burning incense stick was a good idea around so many animals that tend to be very sensitive to smell. My wife wanted to buy every animal in that dump just to save them from that horrendous place. I had to wipe the dust off of every product I looked at. Cats were being housed in guinea pig/rabbit cages that were way too small. The owner was pushing pine and cedar bedding for our guineas, which is also a no-no. Don't even stop at this hole-in-the-wall place--actually, this hole in the wall would be better off as a ""hole in the ground."". The glowing positive reviews I've read were either written by the owner or an employee!!! STAY AWAY! more

UGH.....this place is awful! 1/13/2010

UGH!!! I bought my cat from this place. AWFUL is putting lightly. My cat had an incision on her ear which turned out to be ringworm. The owner treated it with bleach water. My cats first poop at home consisted of blood and mucus. I took her to the vet where she spent an entire week on an IV. They were very concerned, and could not tell me that she was going to make it. Even my vet was in tears. She ended up having a parasite the vets hadn't even seen before. Her medicine was over-nighted from Arizona. Several weeks and thousands of dollars later my cat was healthy. Of course this place uses every loop hole possible just to stay in business. I called Animal Protection. I called Town and Country, looking for some kind of reimbursement, of course......nothing. This place MUST be shut down NOW!!!! Pros: I love my cat that almost died Cons: This place should be shut down more

Sold antibiotics that were 2 years expired 5/24/2009

Husband purchased fish antibiotics for ~$30. When he got home I checked the expiration date and it had expired in May of 2007 (2 years ago). He tried to return it less than 1 hours later and they refused to refund his money. The container was unopened and he had the receipt and the card that it was purchased with. Cons: Refused to refund money more

Sold me a sick puppy BEWARE!!!!! 5/21/2009

I bought the long haired chihuahua puppy in Feb. The first morning I owned the puppy I was filled with excitement but wondered why he was coughing. I contacted the pet store and Mark gave me some antibiotics and told me that would take care of my new puppy that he named Panda. Much has happened since then to the tune of 2 vets and 3 K ( thousand dollars). My puppy almost died and this isnt over yet. There are still X-Rays to take and medication to give seveal times a day for at least 4 more weeks. Its now the end of May. I and my vet, Sofia Arthur from VCA FT Collins Animal Hospital, have spoken with Mark and he wishes to blame everyone (me, the breeder, Vet) and everything (the weather) and is very defensive. He agreed with me at the time that the puppy was sick or he wouldnt have given me medication. the fact is that he sold a sick puppy. BEWARE!!! Pros: I like the puppy Cons: Mark knew the puppy was sick and sold it anyway more
