My dad and brother own and operate this company. My dad has been roofing for over 40 years. Yes, he's 66 and still roofs, pretty impressive. My brother has worked with him ever since jr. high. Needless to say they are both very experienced.
That brings us to Vince1999's comments. Vince called T&C Roofing to complain that a couple of shingles flew off his roof. Keep in mind, this is almost 10 years after the roof was installed. Dave Sr. told the customer to turn it into his insurance company as it was probably the wind that blew them off. The customer had a $500 deductible and did NOT want a claim. Then Dave Sr. said he could try a warranty claim but he didn't think it was a warranty issue. The customer said he did not want to pay T&C Roofing, he did not want to do an insurance claim and he didn't want to deal with a manufacturer's warranty. At that point, there was no way T&C Roofing was going to drive 80 miles one way to replace a few shingles for nothing.
A couple shingles don't fly away after ""9 years and 4 months"" later due to workmanship. They fly away ""9 years and 4 months"" later due to the WIND. That said, they were NOT willing to drive all the way up there to correct an issue from Mother Nature for free.
T&C Roofing stand by their workmanship 100%. In addition, the shingles they install are warranteed 15-30 years. They have helped many customers and even non customers work with manufacturers and manufacturer's reps to work out product warranty issues.
Please take Vince1999's review with a grain of salt. There is more to the story as you can see Vince1999 made it very difficult to work through.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
