The Best Pizza 4/13/2006

This is other place that serves the best pizza in town. This place and Channel Inn are operated by the same owner. This location is in the heart of downtown Dubuque right by the Town Clock (hence the name). The pizza tastes like deep dish pizza you would get in Chicago. With the recent renovations to the downtown area, this is a really nice place to eat at. more

Owner Message

  • In 1970 my grandparents Eugene (Chick) & Rita Schueller ran the Town Clock Inn in the old Montgomery Ward sports department, in the lower level Nesler Center. Chick & Rita's 6 children all worked in the restaurant making it a family owned top rated business. In 1985 my
    mother Stephanie bought the Town Clock Inn from her parents, for 26 years my Mom ran the restaurant while raising 3 children on her own.

    In 2009 my wife Irene & I bought the restaurant and are currently running it with the support of my Mom and our three boys who we hope to pass the business down to in the future. From time to time you will see members of our family helping out! We strive to make the same delicious tasting quality food my grandparents made. We welcome you to our family and thank you for being a part of its success!
