ok mexican food 9/12/2005

Torero's is ok mexican food, and is located in downtown Durham. I would definitely eat there again, but then i've never met a taco I didn't like! That being said, there are so many great options for Mexican food in Durham, you don't really have to settle for "ok". They have the usual selection of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. Prices are reasonable. more

Good, but not great, Mexican food. Lots of entrées to choose from, with a large selection of appetizers and drinks as well. They have a nice selection of a la carte items if you're not super-hungry. Everything seems to swim in sauce, though, and the fillings could be fresher. If you're in the mood for "authentic" Mexican food, try El Rodeo instead. more

One of the first 7/12/2005

Torero's is one of the first and oldest Mexican restaurants. Torero's is located in down town Durham where there is a lot of competition from the surrounding restaurants. Torero's serves the usual Mexican cuisine. You can order tacos, fajitas, flan, etc. If you are visiting Durham, Torero's is one of the now many Mexican restaurants you can find. more
