Where would you expect to find a quality Thai-Malaysian restaurant? Probably not in a shopping center anchored by Kroger and surrounded by second-rate restaurants, but in the middle of mediocrity, Top Spice stands out for its great service, excellent food, and reasonable prices. When you first step into the restaurant, you worry about how much it might costs, thinking "Geez, this place looks expensive (for a college student)." In reality, the prices are nothing more than you'd pay at any Chinese restaurant. They have a great selection of dishes, from hot, spicy dishes to sweeter dishes for those with a more sensitive palate. They also do a good job providing many options for vegetarians and vegans. The atmosphere is very modern yet still incorporates Southeast Asian touches. The lighting and decor make it a great place for a date, and it's not too hard on the wallet either.
