The best ice cream sundaes and milkshakes can be found at this unique little shop. The candies and nuts that they sell are worth every penny. It is an soda fountain type place.

Best Ice Cream 8/13/2006

This place is retro all the way. They have never remodeled it, and evidently people like it that way. I personally would like to see a new paint job inside rather than the yellowy paint that used to be white 50 years ago, along with better lighting than dirty flourescent bulbs. The ice cream is to die for. Just go for that and you won't be sorry. The food is typical hamburger/french fries stuff you can get anywhere. Pros: Ice Cream is the Best! Cons: Surroundings way too outdated. more

OMG! I used to go to this place when I was little with my dad and have loved it ever since. They have some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted! It's a really cozy little place and it's fun to go to with friends and family. A true jem! more

If you want to take a trip back in time, go to Tom's - they are serving the same menu they did 40 - 50 years ago - and the food, especially the ice cream, is superb. I would highly recommend it to anyone. more

Tom's has been around for a long time now and is simply the best ice cream parlor in Zanesville. They offer a wide variety of flavors, as well as milkshakes, sundaes, and a number of candies and nuts. All of their products are made themselves and are of the highest quality. more
