This is my favorite ""greasy spoon"" restaurant in SA. It's one of those many Mexican places that is open for breakfast and lunch only, Monday-Saturday. A sucker for enchiladas, I always eat them here, and they're great. However, when I'm there, most of the other patrons are enjoying other specialties including caldo and fideo con carne, which are excellent. The ambience is nothing special, but it's authentic San Antonio, and the waitresses are always friendly, a tone set by the irreplaceable Veronica.
¡Viva Nachitos!
