Good place for a nice lunch 5/7/2008

Nice patio with a beautiful view. The food is good yet forgettable. It's rather on the expensive side so be prepared. Pros: Nice ambience Cons: Expensive for the quality of food more

Best Ever Ribs! 7/8/2007

Love it! Love it! Love it! These ribs are the best. The other places claim they are the best but shame on them. This is a fun upbeat dining experience with live Steel Drum music. It makes me think I've escaped and gone back to the Islands. The Coconut Rum Cake isn't bad either. I just wish they'd put a little more rum in it. I've tried some of the other disheshere and didn't find them to be a good as the ribs. You have to try them with the sides of asparagus and the sweet potato mash. Yummy! Pros: Great music and fantastic Ribs Cons: Upstairs and a walk from the parking lot more

Great for Drinks and Atmosphere 5/1/2004

The restaurant is beautiful and when you step inside, you feel like you've been transported to the tropics. The drinks are wonderful and the food is below average. We had the coconut shrimp, which is the most popular appetizer, and it was greasy and the papaya/mango sauce tasted like apricot jelly. The entrees were small, overpriced ($28) and blah! We had the shrimp and scallops in coconut curry...good, but not $28 good. We also had the special, halibut with macadamia crust on sticky rice. Both the rice and the halibut were mushy and tasted like nothing. Pros: ambiance, drinks, service Cons: , price, crowded more

GREAT LUNCH SPOT! 1/28/2003

The food, and the atmosphere make this place always a must for me when I'm in town. The crab cakes are unique and oh so good. I love the grouper sandwich too! Sit outside and you feel like your on vacation! Summer time they put the misters outside - aahhh so worth it! Pros: grouper sandwich, crab cakes more
